Taking the guess-work out of therapy.

FAQ’s about Therapy

  • We hear this a lot, as sometimes people don't know if there struggles are "that bad" or not to warrant therapy. If you have ever felt overly anxious, depressed, or are going through a life transition or loss that is overwhelming to the point that it is interfering with your daily life, relationships, or daily functioning, it may be time to reach out and try therapy to see if the guidance, education and support you will receive benefits you in a positive way.

  • Payment of $175 for a 45 minute session or $200 for a 60 minute session is due at time of service. You may pay with a check, cash, or any major credit cards are also accepted.

  • At the present time, I have a few spots alloted for Medicare recipients, as I do accept traditional Medicare. Otherwise, I do not accept insurance and would be considered an out-of-network provider. You very well may be able to receive reimbursement from your insurance if you have out-of-network benefits. I would be happy to help you explore this option, and I can provide superbills that you can submit to your insurance to use for possible reimbursement of therapy costs.

  • Our office is conveniently located in on Godwin Avenue in Midland Park, NJ. The building is wheelchair accessible. A large parking lot with a main entry is easily accessible in the rear of the building.

  • Everyone is different, so there is no definitive answer to this question. Some people may just need a few sessions, others 6-12 weeks, others 6-12 months or more, depending on their needs and how they are progressing. I can help guide you on what the projection of length of therapy may look like as we work together. In the end, you are 100% in the driver seat about how long you would like to be in therapy for.

  • I treat adults ages 18 and over at the present time. I have much experiencing working with young adults, struggling with launching into adulthood, relationships or learning self-love. Another specialty of mine is working with the perinatal population and supporting young women who are planning a pregnancy, currently pregnant, or those who have recently become a new mother as they navigate and learn the motherhood journey. Additionally, I have spent many years working with older adults 55 and over as they may be facing adjustments as they may be dealing with the following: retirement, aging children, becoming grandparents, medical issues, relationship issues, losses or anxiety or mood disorders.

  • You must cancel your session 24-hours prior to your session, or you may be charged the full rate of your session.
